Kings Beach State Recreation Area is a day-use only facility, with 18 picnic tables, barbeques, restrooms, a playground, a half court for basketball, fishing, and water sport activities available.
Welcome to Lake Tahoe! If you don’t know what to do this afternoon, relax here on the beach or venture out onto the lake. Kings Beach State Recreation Area features 979 feet of beautiful frontage property along the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Kings Beach State Recreation Area is a day-use only facility, with a large picnic area and barbecues. A playground area and basketball court are available to occupy the kids while you fish on the lake. Public restrooms are onsite so you can relax here the entire day! The boat rental facility is located conveniently on the pier.

Kings Beach SRA is located in downtown Kings Beach, between Bear and Coon streets on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The park is approximately one mile west of the Nevada State Line and thirteen miles southeast of Truckee, CA from Highway 267. Check road conditions with Caltrans.
Kings Beach Aqua Sports – where you can rent kayaks, canoes, sailboats, and more – is located on the pier across from Taco Bell.
