The Rocklin Chamber’s Hot Chili & Cool Cars is back! This annual event is a favorite for residents, visitors, classic car enthusiasts and chili aficionados. Free to attend, this 3 decade-old annual event features the area’s coolest cars and fiercest chili cooks, all competing for bragging rights in the Classic Car show and Chili Cook-off. Downtown Rocklin is transformed into a giant community celebration, encompassing nearly 17 acres.

The Auburn Symphony Presents: Masterworks I – A Night at the Movies. The Auburn Symphony is thrilled to welcome back Konstantin Soukhovetski on piano, performing everyone’s favorite, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, celebrating the 100 year anniversary of this famous composition. Konstantin will further delight all with a movement from his first symphony, Once Upon a Spring.

Come on out & celebrate all that you’re thankful for with friends & family at this year’s Turkey Trot in Roseville! Plan to arrive no later than 8:15am in order to park and arrive at the starting area for announcements. Race announcements and course instructions given at 8:30am. The race starts promptly at 9:00am. Parking for this event is FREE! Take advantage of Roseville’s convenient parking. Refreshments provided for all registered participants following the race. All adult participants receive Unisex long sleeve race shirt. Youth will receive 100% cotton shirts. Late registrants are not guaranteed shirts and sizes. Register online by November 1, 2024 to guarantee your shirt and size! We will be accepting non-perishable food donations on race day. These food donations with be given to Saint Vincent de Paul, Roseville, to help stock their Food Locker program.

The Auburn Symphony Presents: Masterworks II – Sublime Sibelius! Jean Sibelius’ first symphony is one of the most romantic pieces ever written and is one of Maestro Murray’s personal favorites. You will love this idyllic, musical gem that explores the entire palette of sounds that a symphony orchestra can create! Soloist Jesse Barrett, a true virtuoso on the oboe, will charm audiences with his melodic interpretation of Mozart’s Concerto for Oboe.

The Auburn Symphony Presents their annual Family Concert, which will be “Lemony Snicket: The Composer is Dead”. Beloved Narrator Omari Tau will be narrating! This show emphasizes and engages with youth in the audience to learn about the different instrument sections of the orchestra. Jenna Son, Grand Prize Winner of the 2024 Young Artists Competition will perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto, Op. 47. An Instrument Petting Zoo immediately follows the concert lead by Auburn Symphony musicians and Placer High School Music students. Open to all ages, meet the musicians and try out an instrument!
