Flights were offered in a 1939, mirror shiny DC-3 airplane during Friday Flydays at the Auburn Airport.
Among the passengers at Friday Flydays event at the airport, was Col. Bud Anderson.
Flights were $189 and all the funds went to the Col. Bud Anderson scholarship fund.
There were other classic airplanes and vehicles at the event as well as music, vendor booths and free hotdog dinner.
Friday Flydays takes place the third Friday of the month until September. The upcoming one in June will feature CalFire, July will be themed with experimental aircraft and August will host local law enforcement.
