Patton Landing – Watermans Landing
Stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals are conveniently available.
This beach is the perfect place to spend the day on the lake! Home to Waterman’s Landing, a gourmet coffeehouse, this three-acre, pebbly beach is quickly becoming Lake Tahoe’s stand up paddling headquarters. If you want to go onto the lake, stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals are conveniently available so you can enjoy the lake without bringing your own watercraft. If you’re a boater, you can use the free, nonmotorized “car top” boat launch site. Feel free to ask questions of the staff – they are experts in the local paddle community. Accessible pathways, benches, and picnic tables are also available if you don’t feel like getting wet.
- Hours The beach and coffeehouse are operated year-round by a concessionaire, on behalf of the California Tahoe Conservancy. Hours of operation are full time in the summer season and weekends-only in the winter months
