During the past twenty-five years, Black Oak Golf Course has been transformed from a diamond in the rough to the jewel in the crown of nine holes golf courses in Northern California and the Auburn golf community. Once something of a walk on the wild side, the course has been tailored to cater for golfers of all abilities. Over the years, over one hundred trees have been planted with about a dozen having been removed to better delineate the fairways. Manicured fairways provide a lush green carpet to the entrance of slick tiered Poanna greens on a course, that from the tips, measures 3,163 yards, consisting, two par 3’s, five par 4’s and two par 5’s. The signature hole is the scenic 131 yards par 3 fourth hole over water.
