🌸 Yoomén: Celebration of Spring at @maidumuseum was exciting & educational - Native American artists, performers, chefs, & crafters from Placer County region & beyond came out to share their wares, wisdom, & delicacies. A volunteer docent at the Maidu Museum & Historic Site led a walk through the native grounds, pointing out the edible tubers, blooming wildflowers, native petroglyphs, beaver activity, & more!

We highly encourage you to visit & view the current art exhibit on display at @maidumuseum: “Momím Wené / Medicine Water is an art exhibit emerging from indigenous artists’ perspectives of tribal relationships and the stories of our people and our waterways.” – Meyo Marrufo, Exhibition Curator & Artist. The installation will be up until September 14th.
