In 1993, the concept of Tahoe Joe’s Famous Steakhouse was born. The vision was to design a restaurant around the legendary chef, Tahoe Joe, from the Lake Tahoe region during the glorious mining days of the 1870’s.The atmosphere in a Tahoe Joe’s Famous Steakhouse would be of a first rate ski lodge in the mountains. The menu would offer the finest flavors in Sierra Mountain Dining. Tahoe Joe’s chefs would take the time and trouble to use old fashioned cooking techniques such as wood fire grilling and slow roasting to prepare some of the best tasting food this side of the Sierra Nevadas.
