Once completed the Fire Museum will be open to the public. Photographs, fire equipment, and other memorabilia will be on display.
The Old Town Firehouse was built in the 1920’s and operated as a fire station until the 1960’s. The Roseville Historic Fire Museum committee plans to restore the fire station to a museum and public fire and emergency education center. Once completed the Fire Museum will be open to the public. Photographs, fire equipment, and other memorabilia will be on display.
The museum prominently displays an ever-growing collection of vintage medical, pharmaceutical, nursing, and dental artifacts dating from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century.
The gallery exhibits cutting-edge work of leading regional, national and international artists as well as faculty artists, alumni, and students in seven shows throughout the year.
Visitors will learn the history of skiing in the Sierra and the story of the 1960 Olympic Winter Games.
