Auburn Winds Concert Band invites you to join them on a musical journey to faraway places. Conductor Jim Kepfer will lead a wide-ranging program of music including Holst’s “Second Suite in F,” “A Cohan Broadway Festival,” “The Beltway Jam,” a medley from “The Lion King,” and more. Auburn Winds is a community band with 40 volunteer musicians of all ages. In 2016 it was proclaimed the Official Town Band of Auburn. Concert admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted.

Auburn Ravine Revival, voted Auburn’s “Best of the Best Band” for 2024 and 2025, will play a concert and host a CD release party as a FUNDRAISER for Auburn State Theatre. This beloved grassroots band offers a captivating mix of Classic Rock, Blues, and their own unique twist on Americana.

Together, their concerts are a memorable mix of playful jazz, Americana, originals and eclectic pop highlighted by blazing fingerpicking and soulful vocals.

Experience one of the most influential names in Indian music live in concert as Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy perform at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. This special event brings the legendary Bollywood trio to Northern California for a rare live performance featuring music that has shaped generations of Indian cinema.

Each year, we share films to inspire viewers to take further action regarding issues impacting our environment, ourselves, and the world. The festival provides an opportunity for attendees in the Sierra to support their local advocates for the environment. This year On Tour will be hosted at the Lake Tahoe Community College in South Lake Tahoe.Please join us for an evening of fantastic and informative story telling.

Wander the easy walking trail on the preserve and find musician ensembles tucked in the trees… hear Mozart in the meadow or Bach just around the bend . . . choose your own adventure!

The Auburn Symphony presents the Season Finale: Saint-Saëns: The Organ Symphony! Every year, the Auburn Symphony invites you to travel “down the hill” with us to the acoustically spectacular venue, the Robert & Margrit Mondavi Center for the Arts at UC Davis. On this grand stage, we present larger orchestral works bringing in special guests, choirs, and other unique programs. We’ll wrap up the season in grand fashion at the Mondavi Center, with two audience favorites: Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring Parker Van Ostrand, a Young Artists Competition winner, and Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony. The acoustics at Mondavi make this an unforgettable experience every time. A bus is available for transport to and from Auburn (the Auburn Public Library parking lot at 350 Nevada Street, Auburn) for guests who would like to sit back and enjoy the ride with no parking hassle! Bus departs at 1:00 pm.

With the intuitive sense and emotional depth of a filmmaker, California native David Luning looks deeply into the human condition in his music, exploring its shadowy recesses and its brilliantly lit corners. He spent a few years studying film scoring at the Berklee College of Music, then John Prine’s music changed his life.
