Wise Villa’s wines come from our estate grapes, meaning they are grown right here on the vines surrounding the winery.
The microclimates of Wise Villa’s Vineyards set it apart from the surrounding areas as well. The Estate Vineyards lie in an inversion layer, wherein the winter temperatures are warmer (avoiding freezes and spring frosts) and the summer temperatures are cooler (resulting in slower sugar accumulation in the grapes, obtaining richer flavors).
Our charming vineyard setting has elegant European influences and is considered one of California’s most romantic wedding destinations. Wise Villa Winery is set before a backdrop of enchanting scenery amidst breathtaking views of our rolling hills vineyard and the Sacramento Valley. Some say we are a modern day fairy tale nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Drive I-80 East, take the Highway 65 ramp towards Lincoln; (7.3 miles); take Exit 314, take ramp to right for Lincoln Boulevard, towards Downtown Lincoln. Then turn right on Lincoln Boulevard, right on Gladding Road and then right onto Wise Road.
