The Festival is all about “Eggplants”. There will be crafts, entertainment, cooking contest using eggplants, and more. Great fun for the whole family.
From Sacramento/Rocklin/Roseville: Take Interstate 80 East. Exit at Horseshoe Bar Rd. and turn right on to Horseshoe Bar Rd then Continue to Taylor Rd. and turn right. This 152-acre park is located off of Rocky Ridge Drive in East Roseville. The developed area of the park (54 acres) includes the Maidu Community Center, Maidu Branch Library, Veteran’s Memorial Rose Garden and Maidu Museum & Historic Site.
Geocachers can ride Squaw Valley’s scenic Aerial Tram up to High Camp, el. 8200 feet, to find 10 caches hidden among the mountain’s peaks using GPS coordinates.
The Treetop Adventure Park offers a variety of courses, from kids’ zip lining to a thrilling adventure ropes courses.
