The Colfax Heritage Museum contains an eclectic collection of items that tell the history of the Colfax area, as well as illustrate the strong relationship to and influence of the building of the Transcontinental Railroad.
The Museum is located in the refurbished Colfax Train Depot at 99 Railroad Avenue, where the statue of Schuyler Colfax is standing South Side of Grass Valley Street at the railroad crossing.
The recently renovated Olympic Museum, located at High Camp showcases their unique collection of memorabilia, news articles and video presentations.
Once completed the Fire Museum will be open to the public. Photographs, fire equipment, and other memorabilia will be on display.
Provides classes on acting as well as puts on performances for the community.
