In Placer County, in the heart of the community of Rocklin is Cante Ao Vinho at the Historic Quarry House. Originally built as a butcher shop in 1905, early-day fires have destroyed all the other original buildings along the street, but due to the stone thickness and sturdy construction, this historic building still stands. Great history.
If you are looking for a fun, unique and memorable location for your wedding reception, party, shower, or business meeting – this is your event space! The main floor is the family-owned winery tasting room, with many wonderful wines offered. The tasting room can serve as a pre-dinner social space (60 seated/90 cocktail style). It is cozy, comfy and very approachable.
The underground basement, “Cante Cellar”, is ideal for an intimate and elegant dinner space (80 seated/100 cocktail style). Handsome wood farm tables and chairs are included in the rental. And table-top items are available for rental. Cante Ao Vinho even has beautiful “table runner style” décor (see the photos). Highboy cocktail tables can be utilized. The old stone walls surround the room for a romantic vibe.
In addition, you can bring in your own licensed and insured caterer. There is a large prep area for catering. They have an excellent in-house sound system for the main floor and the cellar, but you can provide your own DJ or small dance band.
