Chef Daniel invites you to experience the taste, aromas and passion of his homeland right here in the heart of historic downtown Lincoln through a culinary experience that is years in the making.

 

Born in Rome and growing up in Argentina, his father is Brazilian-Portuguese and his mother Italian, Chef Daniel absorbed many life lessons from his mother that can only be taught with time, patience and love. His passion for food began as a young adult being in their warm kitchen filled with aromatics of homemade Italian dishes. His homemade red sauce has been part of his family for generations and it is truly extraordinary.

 

Buonarroti is named after the most famous artist of the Italian Renaissance, Michelangelo Buonarroti. The 100-year-old brick interior and hand painted murals gives the restaurant an old world feel.

Located in an old feed building known locally as the Jansen Building. There is parking in the center of the building and at the end of the building. The murals inside are done by a local artist.
