Last weekend, Sacramento welcomed the WORLD at Terra Madre Americas, a festival celebrating food, farming, and culture across the globe!🌍✨ Within this global gathering, Placer County proudly shared its story, including local bites from Restaurant Josephine, Hawks Granite Bay, and Real Food Catering crafted with Placer-grown ingredients 🥖🍷

Small family farms and wineries showcased the bounty of our region, from mushrooms to olive oil, produce to chai, wine to fresh-baked bread. It was a chance to celebrate our 170-year agricultural legacy on an international stage, as well as shine a light on the farmers, makers, and chefs who make Placer County so unique and beautiful 💛

Catch the next festival in Sacramento in 2027! In the meantime, you can visit these farms and local gems in person right here in Placer County!
