Lodgepole Campground
In summer, this campground has 214 sites for tents, RVs, and trailers. In fall and spring, there are 16 walk-in tent sites and a limited number of RV sites.
Lodgepole Campground is located in a great area near Lake Valley Reservoir in Placer County. You can book using an online reservation to take advantage of the fishing, swimming and boating on the calm waters. The boating speed limit is under 10 miles per hour, which rules out waterskiing but benefits anglers. Be sure to take your family out to hike! A trailhead from camp leads south up Monumental Ridge and to Monumental Creek, which is three miles away.
