It’s a short trip from Lake Tahoe and worth the time to stop by, enjoy the views and relax by the sparkling water.

From Lake Tahoe, take California Highway 89, continuing past the junction with Interstate 80 for 1.5 miles to the turnoff for Prosser Creek Reservoir. Head east one mile to a campground or two miles to a boat ramp.

The area is accessible year-round but the lake is frozen over during winter.
