All day and night celebrations! “Run Crime Out Of Town” 5K race held in Vernon Street Town Square kicks off at 7:15AM. Then the Parade starts promptly at 9:00am at the intersection of Vernon/Riverside/Douglas. Stay for the fun after the parade in Royer Park starting at 10:00am. Enjoy the sounds of the Vino Banditos while kids have fun with various games and activities. Food available for purchase. Bring a blanket or chairs for the family and come celebrate Independence Day @the Grounds with the 4th of July fireworks show. Gates open at 4pm with activities and games for the kids and concessions for the whole family. Fireworks begin between 9:15 and 9:30pm. Parking is $15, cash or card.

Annual 4th of July pancake breakfast, presented by the NDGW and NSGW and held at the Lincoln Veterans Memorial Hall, 541 5th Street in Lincoln. The always delicious breakfast will be served, and is conveniently located along the parade route. Prices are only $12 for those aged 12 and above, and $5 for those 11 and under, to help make breakfast more affordable for families.

The Auburn Mini-Mile is a fun and festive kids run held on the morning of July 4 before Auburn’s Family Fourth Parade. Young runners ages 3 and older will have the opportunity to run on closed downtown streets, enjoy the excitement of race day, and experience the cheers of family and spectators along the course.

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday right in the heart of Downtown Auburn!  The day kicks off with the One Mile Run, followed by the Parade & Festival from. This is a free event with something for everyone — live music, food trucks and vendors, games and contests, a kids splash pad to beat the summer heat, and an adult bar for the grown-ups. The highlight? The legendary Duck Derby, where you could win $2,500! Grab your rubber duck and get in on the action.

Kick off your Fourth of July with one of Truckee’s favorite traditions! Race down the parade route, celebrate with friends and family, and support the Auburn Ski Club Training Center Scholarship Fund—all before the parade begins.

Celebrate Independence Day by running the inaugural Auburn Mile in historic Downtown Auburn. Held just before Auburn’s beloved Fourth of July Parade, this unique community race gives participants the novel opportunity to run the full parade route on closed streets lined with spectators and patriotic spirit.

Learn about Placer County’s rich history. See the gold collection weighing over 13 pounds, tour the museum gallery, or start a kid’s activity. Historic re-enactors will be on-site throughout the day and the Placer Genealogical Society will offer free guidance on family history research.

State Theatre Acting Company (STAC) returns for Season 10 of its popular “Golden Age of Radio” series. STAC will present three classic episodes, complete with costumes and LIVE Foley sound effects (a unique technique that involves creating and performing everyday sounds for radio audiences). Bring your own chair!
